starting from last sunday...
i did 14 miles on my bike at stone mountain, which is VERY hilly...i was NOT ready for it! started getting sick that night, and woke up pretty miserable! I think all the pollen got to me. didn't train on monday (was supposed to do legs and yoga). trained shoulders on tuesday with nick...and about 30 minutes later, i could barely talk! didn't go to work wednesday AGAIN! i was going to go see some nutrition clients at the doctor's office, but how could i help them if i couldn't speak! felt a little better thursday, so i went to run club that night, but didn't push myself too hard. friday, i trained with nick again, this time back and calves, it was decent. saturday, i had chest and arms on my schedule, but never got around to it! too busy! today, i did a swim, then a bike right after, felt really really good! barely any dizziness! this week is my last week in the gym with my current program, then i am taking a week off of weights, then it is cutting time! i cannot believe my true prep starts in 2 weeks! next week i am going to do some test outs for tri training, to see where my fitness level is at...very interested in these results! hope to have a good wrap up week! headed to florida this friday for ry's first tri of the season (st. Anthony's)...he is feeling very strong and hopes to be in the top 10 in his age group in this very large race. got shoulders on tap for tomorrow and legs on tuesday with nick. training hard and smart...FITBree out....
