make your own multi-purpose sauce...
you can use this as pasta sauce, pizza sauce, or thin it out for soup.
simply roast a bunch of veggies at 375 for 45min-1hr, i did beets, squash, eggplant, and carrots, along with some garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper.  make sure they are nice and soft/fork tender.  let them cool down a bit and then blend them up with either a little vegetable stock and/or tomato juice and some diced tomatoes.  keep the consistency somewhat thick so it can be used as a sauce and if you'd like to make soup out of some of it, simply thin it out with some extra stock when you re-heat it on the stove.  sunday, i had it as soup with some yummy tomato-basil bread, tuesday, i used it as a pasta sauce with ground bison, and today, i mixed it with some quinoa and a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese.  add some more nutrients to your life and make your own sauce!
