Here we go again!

So what is Paleo?
I do not eat this way, but have found some of the recipes very intriguing! 
Here is MY version of their pancake recipe....
In a blender...
1/2 cup egg whites
2 tbsp ground flax seeds
1 banana
1 tbsp chia seeds, you can grind them up first, but it is not necessary like flax seeds
1/4 cup applesauce
1 tsp fish oil* (optional)
1/2 scoop (10grams) protein powder, i use BiPro whey protein isolate, this is the only ingredient that makes MY version inconsistent with the Paleo program 

Blend until smooth and cook on lightly greased griddle just like a regular pancake.  
I top mine with a little natural peanut butter and blueberries.  

Ryan changes this recipe up a lot, and i am always pleased when he cooks for me!  You can change and/or add many ingredients...
almond milk instead of applesauce
2 whole eggs instead of egg whites
tons of different flavorings....cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, vanilla
almond butter instead of flax seeds

*here is the fish oil i use...

it has a great lemon flavor that adds depth to the recipe.
