Did you love cream of wheat as a kid?  I sure did!  
My parents would buy the individual packets and I would cook it up with milk in the micro and then mix in A TON of honey and butter! Yummy

I am definitely not against wheat; however, one way to make this meal more nutrient dense, is to use organic rolled oats instead of instant cream of wheat.  

Simply grind up your rolled oats in a blender or food processor (do a bunch at once and store the rest in an airtight container) and then measure out 1/2 cup, mix it with 3/4 cup of milk (cow or non-dairy alternative) and heat it up in the microwave for 2 minutes on 50% power, stirring once.  DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT do it at full power!  It will most definitely run over the sides of the bowl!  

Then add in your toppings...
peanut or almond butter
blueberries or strawberries
honey or real maple syrup
cocao nibs
