here is one way to do it!  instead of boring sides of steamed broccoli and asparagus!  put them in your protein!
make a frittata.  it is so simple!  kind of like an omelet, but easier!  in a large skillet saute up 2-3 kinds of chopped veggies in some olive oil, tonight i am doing kale, peppers, and leeks, then whip up some eggs/egg whites in a large bowl, for 2 people i go with 3 whole eggs and 4 egg whites, after the veggies have softened a bit, pour in the eggs and top with a little bit of a bold flavorful cheese, like goat, parm, or blue.  cover and cook in the pan on LOW for about 5 minutes, then place it under the broiler to crisp up and brown the top.  cut like a pizza and serve up with a side salad.  high protein and lots of veggies, great evening meal!
