really don't care for or sick of plain old Brussels sprouts?...give this a try....cut off ends and chop up fine or shred them, saute in olive oil, salt, and pepper for 8-10 minutes, then add 2 cloves minced garlic, saute another 2 minutes, add 1/2-1 cup chicken or veg stock, cook over low-medium heat for 5-6 minutes, then at the end add lemon zest and juice and cook another 2 minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed.  top with some toasted walnuts.  this was very bright and flavorful!  so much better than steamed brussels!  almost tasted like lemon popcorn with the toasted walnuts!  tonight i am doing some coconut curried cauliflower....experiment for sure!!!
