NOT!  man, biking is a true challenge!  i have heard tons of people say they would have to work super hard to get their fitness up on the swimming and running part of tris, but biking would be no sweat!  yea right!  and i was one of those people before i started training!  biking is definitely my weakest link and believe me, for those triathletes who have biking as their strongest link...they work their butts off!  if you wana be a competitive biker, you gotta put in the work!  this is such a challenge for me over the winter...it is freezing!  running in cold temps isn't THAT bad, but biking is MISERABLE!  i must find a way to get in more biking hours before official tri training starts!  climbing the hard hills at 10-12 mph is not gonna cut it!!!  i biked 17 miles yesterday and could totally tell that my fitness has dropped.  and i also almost got attacked by two dogs!!!  those f*&^ers can haul ass!  on a more positive note, my 1/2 marathon training is coming along.  i did 9.5 miles last week at about 8:25 pace and this friday or saturday i hope to do 10-11.  cleaning up the diet hard core this week.  i just feel so horrible when i get off clean food. tonight i had the "best ever" roasted butternut squash and arugula salad from my recipe collection.  check it out and more on my website... http://www.fittelligence.com/node/13
