make your own condiments!

Posted by Bree Marsh on Wednesday, August 25, 2010,
i can't stress enough how great this is!  it adds so much flavor to your foods and YOU control the ingredients!  you know exactly what is in it!  i do this all the time.  pestos, salsas, thai sauces, aiolis, salad dressings.   add them to grains, salads, and wraps, use them as dipping sauces or toppings for potatoes and soups/stews.  not only does it add flavor, but it adds "good" fats as well.  here are some of my faves...

BEST SALAD EVER!

Posted by Bree Marsh on Monday, August 23, 2010,
direct quote from my husband Ryan!  this is what we had for dinner last night.

although i cannot give you the exact recipe for two reasons, 1) i don't have the exact recipe, i just threw some stuff together and 2) it is very similar to a recipe i sell on my website, i can encourage you to get more creative with your salads.  here are a few ways to zest up those boring salads.

Posted by Bree Marsh on Wednesday, August 18, 2010,
don't really want to be creative tonight for dinner, but still want to make it healthful and hearty.....
chop up a bunch of veggies (good way to use leftover stuff!) in a small dice and saute them all together in olive oil and garlic, salt and pepper, and serve with grilled or baked chicken and top with basil and parmesan cheese.

this is an easy fake out dish!  many may think you were super creative and took a lot of time preparing it, but really you just threw a bunch of stuff together...all...

Posted by Bree Marsh on Thursday, August 5, 2010,
