My new year's resolution...NEW BLOG 2010!

Posted by Bree Marsh on Thursday, December 31, 2009,
so check it....i am going in a different direction with my blogs in 2010!  i am super excited about it!  i am doing this for a couple of reasons....1) to keep me more focused and motivated to update and 2) to provide more info to others (and learn a little bit more myself).  since i am very much into nutrition, and as some of you know by now....i am more into health than appearance, however, i am still into the way my body looks (who isn't), but i truly believe that health comes first and if ...

i love hill sprints....

Posted by Bree Marsh on Tuesday, December 29, 2009,
just keep telling yourself that Bree!!!!!  i did NOT like them today!  3 mistakes i made before the workout...
1. going with two men!....this really hit my confidence hard!
2. not knowing we were actually sprinting up the hills...i thought it was just hill repeats
3. running too fast on the recovery...i should have walked the downs

today was not my day!  i felt crappy mentally going into the workout....for some reason i have not had the best couple of days...feeling a little depressed and don't ...

biking is the easy part...

Posted by Bree Marsh on Tuesday, December 29, 2009,
NOT!  man, biking is a true challenge!  i have heard tons of people say they would have to work super hard to get their fitness up on the swimming and running part of tris, but biking would be no sweat!  yea right!  and i was one of those people before i started training!  biking is definitely my weakest link and believe me, for those triathletes who have biking as their strongest link...they work their butts off!  if you wana be a competitive biker, you gotta put in the work!  this is such a...

Posted by Bree Marsh on Friday, December 18, 2009,

REALLY believing in yourself!

Posted by Bree Marsh on Wednesday, December 2, 2009,
if you would have asked me 5 years ago if i believe in myself, i would have said yes.  however, i would have been holding something back...i truly didn't believe that i could do almost anything.  wow, how the times have changed!  i think there is a moment in a person's life when REALLY believing in yourself takes on a whole new meaning!  i think back in the day, i would use the excuse "well, i could definitely do that, but i don't want to!"  when i really did want to try something new, but di...
