got a couple things to report/comment
about...
had two great weight training workouts
monday and yesterday...monday i did a loaded up, hard n' heavy,
everything but the kitchen sink shoulder workout. tuesday i did legs
with nick...it was killer....seriously...i got an ocular migraine
about 20 minutes after! these are really freaky...your vision gets
spotty and you see wavy lines in your periphery. i have had one
before, but didn't actually get a headache after...this time i d...
starting from last sunday... i did 14 miles on my bike at stone
mountain, which is VERY hilly...i was NOT ready for it! started
getting sick that night, and woke up pretty miserable! I think all
the pollen got to me. didn't train on monday (was supposed to do
legs and yoga). trained shoulders on tuesday with nick...and about
30 minutes later, i could barely talk! didn't go to work wednesday
AGAIN! i was going to go see some nutrition clients at the doctor's

I still remember my prep for my first
figure show back in 2001, dang that’s a long time ago! I did it
all by myself, reading about training and cardio programs on
bodybuilding.com, and asking other “gym rats” for advice. I was
definitely in decent shape going into the prep, and I had been
working out with weights for about 3 years. I feel my prep went

so i thought i'd write a quick blog to catch ya up on my week! it was decent. sleep sucked at the beginning, but improved the last few days. i think i am ready to train super hard, so i will be exhausted at the end of the day and maybe i will get to sleep fast....that means under 30 minutes! i am so jealous of my husband who can get to sleep within 2 minutes! ok, so on to the training... got all my weights in....some highlights....my trainer killed my legs again...we are really focusing on... so last week didn't quite go as planned, but i still got in some good training. run club got canceled due to rain on thursday, so i biked inside instead. i did a strength interval for 30 minutes, then i did a short circuit with weights. it was good to get some higher endurance resistance training in. Saturday i did an open water swim with a group of triathletes, which was very interesting! or should i say scary! it was in a private lake, the water was probably b/w 60-65, i'd have to say...
